Prostasia Foundation supports the scanning and removal of unencrypted content for known abuse images. But current solutions are not accessible to small web platforms. We are helping to fill the gap with free, open source software tools that small platforms can use to eliminate unlawful images of minors from their websites and apps.
Image scanning for chat groups
We provide a unique open source solution for administrators of Rocketchat chat groups, to enable them to scan for and quarantine known unlawful images automatically. The GitHub repository for this software is available below.

This RocketchatApp validates uploaded images against the Microsoft PhotoDNA cloud service and quarantines those identified as child abuse images (child pornography or CSEM).
In addition, there is a repository for community-developed Rocketchat plugins that are used by MAP Support Club and may also be useful for other RocketChat instances.
Image scanning for forums
Our image scanning technology for the Discourse web forum is currently under development. You can donate to support its development below.
