Development officer

In collaboration with our Executive Director, the Development Officer is responsible for leading our fundraising efforts. Our main sources of funding are memberships, donations, sponsorships, and grants from charitable foundations. Your role will include developing all of these sources of funding.

Required qualifications: This role requires grantwriting experience or a willingness to learn.

Preferred qualifications: An existing network of contacts within one of Prostasia Foundation’s stakeholder communities (for example the Internet, sex, or media industries, or academia) or with relevant charitable foundations would be greatly beneficial.

Personal attributes: The successful applicant should be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision. They will have the initiative and drive to generate and follow up leads from a broad range of corporate and individual donors.

This role can be filled as a contract position, a part-time salaried role, or an internship depending on the applicant’s experience. In all cases, there will be a pathway to progress to full-time employment.
